Background
A Baby Boomer, Mike has been an economist, senior executive, consultant and company director.
He is no stranger to the 60 hour weeks, juggling the work/life balance and occupational and personal stress. “If you’re fit, you can cope better with anything...work stress, illness, even just the daily grind”.
Once a 50 a day smoker, he managed to kick the habit and has stayed off it for 20 years (Yes, it IS tough to throw off the habit).
Fit4Everything has long been Mike’s own approach to life: a strong underlying level of fitness has enabled him to manage daily life and surmount the inevitable problems life throws up, as well as enjoy competing in many fun events.
“I get a real buzz out of seeing people get fitter and achieve what they want to do. When “J” (a 40-something lady client) completed her first triathlon a few weeks ago, I got almost as big a thrill as she did!”

Middle age should be a stage in life when one has more opportunities for trying different things, enjoying more recreation and embarking on real adventures.....good health and fitness makes those things possible.
| “Big events like the City to Surf run or the Brissie to Bay bike ride are huge fun and provide something to aim for in my fitness program”, Mike says.
In addition to fitness things, Mike loves (trying to) play golf and enjoys a good meal with a shiraz and good company.
Mike offers a different perspective to fitness and a deep understanding of issues facing mature adults. |
